ABOUT KNX

With more than 30 years of experience in the global market, and being the worldwide approved standard for home and building control, KNX  (formerly known as EIB) is the professional solution to the growing demands for smarter control of buildings and homes around the world.

To date, KNX has been approved as an International Standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3-1 to 7); European Standard (CENELEC EN 50090 and CEN EN 13321-1 and EN13321-2); Chinese Standard (GB/T 20965); and USA (ANSI/ASHRAE 135). The most recent adoption of KNX standards comes from Australia and New Zealand, in which KNX has been recognized as the national technical specification for smart home and building control.

Unlike many consumer-grade smart home systems that are cloud-based, KNX system is local-based, in which the system is still in full control of the house/building even when the internet or overseas data centre is down.

Together with Internet of Things (IoT), KNX + IoT promises a new level of home and building experiences for the occupants as well as those who need to remote access their homes and offices from any part of the world.

KNX is the answer to the future smart home and building control
